UAP Trends

The deep dive on the PURSUE disclosure — when the incidents happened, who held the files, and which documents carry the most text.

When the Incidents Happened

Dated files by incident decade (year taken from the document title). The 2020s spike is not modern sightings — it is the bulk of AARO-era reports (2020–2025) released with the program; the 1940s–1960s tail is the Cold War correspondence that took decades to declassify.

197 of 297 files carry an incident year in the title; undated files are mostly multi-year correspondence bundles.

Agency Mix per Release

Which agencies contributed each tranche. R01 is the mixed Cold War dump; R03 is CIA-heavy; R05 is FBI-heavy (the “triangle renderings” tranche); R06 is DOW-heavy (the AAWSAP/DIRD advanced-aerospace tranche).
