> What is ai-massist?
ai-massist aggregates, cleans, and visualises PC gaming hardware data from public sources. We turn raw survey dumps into clear rankings and trend lines so you can see what hardware the gaming community actually runs — not what reviewers hype.
> Who is it for?
Gamers deciding on upgrades, hardware enthusiasts tracking market shifts, and anyone curious about the real-world distribution of GPUs, CPUs, and display configurations in the PC gaming ecosystem.
Primary source. Monthly breakdowns of GPU, CPU, and resolution usage across Steam's active user base. Updated monthly.
Supplementary data from public benchmark databases for performance context and cross-referencing hardware tiers.
Price tracking and availability signals from retail APIs to provide market context alongside adoption data.
> How data is processed
Raw survey data is extracted, normalised for naming consistency, and ranked by market share percentage. Historical data is retained to enable month-over-month trend comparison.
> Update frequency
Data is refreshed monthly when Steam publishes new Hardware Survey results. Check the data page for the current survey period.
> Limitations
Steam's survey represents only active Steam users — a subset of total PC gamers. Console gamers, non-Steam PC platforms (Epic, GOG, Battle.net), and non-gaming PC usage are not captured. Treat results as directional indicators, not absolute market share.
